Program Summary
The Annual Adam Taliaferro Foundation (ATF) “Champion” of the Year Contest raises school and community spirit while raising funds for an important cause – and, at the same time, gives student-athletes a chance to earn a scholarship! We challenge you and members of your school community to participate in the “Champions” program to raise funds for patients with spinal cord injuries and their families! The top schools from around the Delaware Valley will be honored for their contributions once again!
This Spring the Philadelphia Flyers, AAA South Jersey, and the Taliaferro Foundation will celebrate your athletes’ and school’s success by hosting a Champions Game Day with tickets to a Flyers home game in April 2025.

How It Works
Your high school will nominate a male and female athlete to represent the school as an ATF “Champion” athlete. The school community will run various fundraisers to support their “Champion” Athletes and patients with spinal cord injuries. Every dollar collected through this fundraiser counts towards the school’s overall donation to the Adam Taliaferro Foundation.

Make a Donation on Behalf of Your School!

Your students and school can participate in one of two ways:

* Organize a fundraiser of you own choosing — from collecting donations at events, powder puff games and dress down days.
* They can also participate in ATF’s Champions Online Giving Campaign from through March 2025. Simply click online at the following site below to make a donation.

Your donation will count toward your school’s fundraising efforts, with some funds eligible for student scholarship efforts.
