When life changes in an instant, the Adam Taliaferro Foundation steps in with care & compassion. We support patients with spinal cord injuries with needed equipment. All funds collected from our Annual Appeal go directly to patients in need. The campaign will continue through January 31, 2025. Proceeds benefit spinal cord patients and their families.
With past campaign funds, the Adam Taliaferro Foundation has funded such projects as:

Our Story
We are celebrating 25 years of serving individuals with life-changing injuries and illnesses. The Adam Taliaferro Foundation (ATF) was formed in 2001 following an injury that Adam Taliaferro suffered during his freshman season in the Fall 2000 Penn State vs. Ohio State football game that left Adam partially paralyzed. Adam endured spinal infusion surgery and months of rehabilitation at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia and miraculously was able to walk on his own again shortly thereafter.
The ATF was founded by Adam’s high school football coach along with other Philadelphia-area coaches and business leaders in 2001 with the mission to assist patients who have suffered spinal cord injuries with medical equipment and services not covered by insurance. We are proud to have given over $1.5 million to over 100 individuals and their families!
