The Adam Taliaferro Foundation will hold its 2021 Medical Symposium for athletic trainers and health care professionals in a virtual format on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, the Foundation has announced.
This symposium is intended to cover the entire spectrum of on-field medical emergencies and injuries. Our speakers are all highly qualified in their field and share a common interest with the ATF – the education of athletic healthcare providers to help prevent catastrophic injuries. A PowerPoint discussion will be provided based on case studies and examples. Expert panel and group discussions will be encouraged to help optimize the learning environment.
Health care professionals can earn 4.0 continuing education credits for participating in this year’s ATF Medical Symposium.
A symposium brochure will be available in late March. For additional information on registration please contact Gus Ostrum, Executive Director.
The Adam Taliaferro Foundation (ATF) provides emotional, financial and educational support to individuals who suffer catastrophic spinal injuries in New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware.
