ATF 2022 Recognition Dinner Set for April 7, 2022

HADDONFIELD, NJ – Former Woodstown High School Athletic Director Glenn Merkle, Delaware high school students Brian Page and Gavin Birl, and past New Jersey Athletic Trainers’ Society President Kevin Briles  will be among the recipients during the Annual Adam Taliaferro Foundation Recognition Dinner on Thursday, April 7, at Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, NJ.

Haddonfield Memorial High School will also be honored with the Dr. Harry Gamble Coaches Award for supporting the Foundation’s mission throughout a multi-year-year period.

The dinner is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.  ATF Recognition Awards will be bestowed as follows:

ATF President’s Award (Service and Commitment): Given to a person who through their dedication and commitment has assisted the Adam Taliaferro Foundation in achieving its goals.  
Recipient: Glenn Merkle, Woodstown, NJ, ATF Board of Directors Member and past Woodstown High Athletic Director

Joel Vittori/AAA Award (Business or Businesses): Given to a business or organization that has, through its generosity and commitment, helped guide the Foundation to achieve its goals (named after AAA because of its steadfast support and commitment to the Foundation)

Recipients:  Tom Arnold, Jason Cartwright, Bryan Brockson, Locust Lane Brewery, Malvern, PA

Adam Taliaferro Award (courage): Given to an individual(s) who has overcome severe adversity in their life.

 Recipients: Brian Page, Magnolia, Magnolia, DE; Gavin Birl, Lewes, DE

Dr. Harry Gamble Coaches’ Award: Given annually to a school or schools that support the Adam Taliaferro Foundation and all the Foundation stands for.

 Recipient:  Haddonfield Memorial High School, Haddonfield, NJ

Magee Professional Service Award: Presented to an individual who exemplifies outstanding service and commitment to the rehabilitation spectrum.

Recipient: Kevin Briles, Past President, NJ Athletic Trainers’ Association, Glassboro, NJ
