Dave Logar Memorial 5K Run Slated for May 16 at Cooper River Park

The Dave Logar Memorial 5K Run will be held Sunday, May 16, at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
The Dave Logar Memorial 5K Run honors Dave's positive attitude and spirit. Proceeds from this event go to paralysis research and to purchase items for individuals with paralysis in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Dave Logar Lenape Scholarship Fund. Registration begins at 8:30AM at the stadium at Cooper River. This is a family friendly event with kids activities. Come out for some fun and a good cause.
Awards for the top three male and female finishers and the following categories:
* 14 and under
* 15-19
* 20-29
* 30-39
* 40-49
* 50-59
* 60 and over.
The 1 Mile Walk begins at 9:30AM at the track, with the 5K Run starting at 10:00AM. This event is Rain or Shine. We will have fun activities for the kids including a Bounce Castle (courtesy of Super Fun Parties, temporary tattoos, and spin art. There will also be hot dogs, Sno Cones, and cotton candy will also be available for sale (proceeds going to the Dave Logar Memorial Fund).
Cooper River Park is located at 5300 North Park Drive in Pennsauken. Registration fees are $15 until May 10 and $20 afterwards.
